MAAC Aces Program
The MAAC Aces program is designed to help recognize and promote fellowship amongst pilots and clubs. To become a MAAC Ace, you need to print out a copy of the logbook (best double sided on card stock), and have the contest director of an event sign each event you attend. When you have 5 different events signed off, then you can apply to become a MAAC Ace. Go for 10 different events and become a Double Ace. The program is just starting, but the documents are listed below. While the documentation is still getting finalized, the Atlantic Zone has been given the "OK" to start. Comments and questions can be sent to andrew(at)sjmfc(dot)com (please replace the at with an @ and dot with a . )
What's in it for you? The opportunity to be recognized for your attendance at MAAC events, the chance to spark up some conversation, tilt your head a little higher, receive interesting badges or decals, and other cool things. Maybe even a draw at the end of the year for any MAAC Aces in the Zone.
Shed Night
Half way through fall, and Jim has started Shed Nights in his shed. 7ish is the start time. Bring what needs fixing. If you have nothing to fix, come along for some social time. Paul will be working on new trainers. Jim has gathered up fuel for the wood stove.
